Flower Snapdragon Avignon Apricot II is a sought-after choice for spring and fall production, boasting robust stems, high yields, and consistent growth in both the field and greenhouse. With its vibrant color and exceptional performance in short day and low temperature conditions, it's a must-have for any garden. Also known as Costa Apricot II, its edible flowers add a touch of color and subtle floral flavor to dishes and drinks.

Popular color for spring and fall production. Exceptionally robust stems, high yields, and uniform growth in the field or greenhouse when grown under short days and low temperatures. Group 2 snapdragon. Previously known as Costa Apricot II.

Edible Flowers: The flowers are a colorful garnish for use in salads, desserts, and drinks. The flavor is floral and slightly bitter, so use sparingly.

* What is a Group 2 Snapdragon:

Cool-season (Groups 1–2) snapdragons are bred for optimal performance under short days, low light, and low temperatures. Best suited to fall, winter, or early spring production, they can be grown indoors or outdoors in mild climates. These varieties are often referred to as “energy-efficient varieties” because they grow and bloom more quickly than higher numbered groups. Varieties classified as Group 1 should only be used during the coolest periods.

Blooms in about 100 days. Germination rate is about 70% or better.

Our Non-GMO seeds are sustainable. Our packaging is environmentally friendly, climate friendly, reusable, and recyclable.

Created from a controlled method of pollination in which the pollen of two different species or varieties is crossed by human intervention. Typical hybrid varieties are deliberately created to breed a desired trait.

Gardeners who use hybrid plant varieties usually purchase new seed every year, however, over several years the seed could eventually be used for open pollination.

Freshly Packed: These snapdragon seeds are packed for the current growing season and will provide high germination rates next year as well.
