Broccoli
Broccoli is a cool weather crop growing best between the daytime temperatures of 50 and 70 degrees F.
Broccoli will tolerate temperatures down into the 20’s but will bolt and go to flower when temperatures reach the 80’s.
Broccoli is most often started from seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before transplanting your broccoli plants outside.
As with all plants started from seed indoors, you’ll need to harden the broccoli seedlings off by placing them outside in gradually increasing intervals for a week or so.
