    Chard can be used at baby-leaf or full-size stage, and is also popular in mixed ornamental containers.

Most intense colors of chard available! 21 to 26 inch tall plants that produce shiny, medium green colored leaves with intensely colorful stalk colors of deep gold, snow white, deep red and magenta. In earlier stages, leaves are smooth to lightly savoyed and become more heavily savoyed with maturity. The stalks are broad, tender, and fleshy, even at full maturity.

    Bright Lights Swiss Chard has lightly savoyed, green or bronze leaves with stems of many colors including gold, pink, orange, purple, red, and white with bright and pastel variations. The flavor is milder than ordinary chard, with each color a bit different. Direct seed or grow from transplant which allows separating out the individual colors. Suitable for production year round, but somewhat less frost hardy than normal for chard. All American Selections winner.

    Ruby Red Swiss Chard produces candy-apple red stems with dark green, red-veined leaves. Great as a true red color in salad mix. CAUTION: Young Ruby Red plants may bolt to seed if exposed to frosts; time sowings to avoid frost on seedlings. Harvest in about 32 days for a baby size and 59 days for bunching. Germination rate about 80% or better.
