Pepper Jalapeno Black Magic is extra-dark with traditional checking.
Pepper Jalapeno Black Magic is the darkest jalapeño on the market. Fruits avg. 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 inches and exhibit "checking" (small cracks in the skin) that indicates the fruits are ready for harvest.
They may be harvested before checking, but the harvest window for this is shorter. The productive, medium-size plants have a high yield potential.
The extra-dark green color is a significant advancement in jalapeño breeding.
Resistant to Bacterial Leaf Spot races 1–3, 7, 8 (High)
Harvest in about 75 days green. Red in 90 days. Germination rate is about 80% or better.
