Wildflower Northeast Mix will transform your Northeastern garden into a vibrant wildflower paradise with this comprehensive seed mix, expertly curated for zones spanning Maine to Maryland. This collection features 23 carefully selected annual and perennial varieties, each chosen for its proven performance in northeastern climates and natural appeal. Your mix includes beloved classics like Black-Eyed Susan, Purple Coneflower, and Shasta Daisy alongside charming companions such as Catchfly, Scarlet Flax, and Russell Lupine. The diverse palette ranges from bold reds and oranges—courtesy of Red Corn Poppy and California Poppy—to soft pastels with Shirley Poppy Mixed Red and Pink, plus cheerful yellows and purples throughout. With approximately 70% germination or better, these non-GMO, heirloom seeds are sustainably grown and packaged in environmentally responsible, reusable materials. Direct sow in fall for spectacular spring blooms once soil temperatures reach 65-70°F. Wildflowers thrive best when planted outdoors rather than started indoors, rewarding you with season-long color and natural pollinator appeal with minimal maintenance required.

Wildflowers are exactly what the name implies, "wild" which means you plant them in the fall for spring growth. Spring means when your ground has thawed and the soil temperature (not the ambient temperature) is at least 65 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Wildflowers are not made to be started inside and transplanted.

This is an heirloom seed, meaning it has been passed down from generation to generation for at least 75 years. As a rule, heirloom seeds taste better and will grow the same year after year.

These are also open pollinated meaning they will reproduce themselves. While all heirlooms are open pollinated not all open pollinated seeds are heirlooms.

Freshly Packed: These seeds are packed for the current growing season and will provide high germination rates next year as well.
