Cucumber Asian Itachi 10 Non-GMO Hybrid Seeds produce distinctive white Asian-type cucumbers known for their sweet, crispy texture and absence of bitterness. These cucumbers grow uniformly to 9 to 11 inches with small seed cavities, offering consistent high yields ideal for fresh eating or cooking, including stir-fries where their firmness holds well. The variety thrives in both greenhouse and field environments, with trellising encouraging straighter fruit development. Parthenogenetic by nature, it ensures reliable fruit set without pollination. To prevent light greening, the plant canopy should shield fruits from direct sun exposure. Seeds deliver around 80% germination and mature in approximately 70 days. Cultivated by a family- and veteran-owned company committed to sustainability, these Non-GMO seeds come in eco-friendly, reusable, and recyclable packaging, supporting both productive gardens and responsible stewardship.

These are Parthenocarpic. These varieties do not need to be pollinated to produce fruit. However, if pollinated, they will produce bitter fruit, so the male flowers need to be removed. Read this article from Aker to find out more about growing these types of cucumbers.

Created from a controlled method of pollination in which the pollen of two different species or varieties is crossed by human intervention. Typical hybrid varieties are deliberately created to breed a desired trait.

Gardeners who use hybrid plant varieties usually purchase new seed every year, however, over several years the seed could eventually be used for open pollination.

Freshly Packed: These cucumber seeds are packed for the current growing season and will provide high germination rates next year as well.
