Corn Dent Ornamental Indian showcases stunning multicolored ears, featuring a vibrant mix of orange, blue, yellow, maroon, black, and white kernels. The plants grow tall, reaching 7 to 8 feet, producing smooth ears approximately 8 inches long. About 10% of the ears display striking purple husks, adding to their ornamental appeal. While primarily grown for decorative purposes, the young ears can also be enjoyed roasted or fried. Additionally, this versatile corn is suitable for making traditional dishes such as polenta and hominy, or ground into flour and meal. It matures in roughly 115 days with a germination rate of about 70% or better. These Non-GMO, heirloom seeds are sustainably cultivated and come packaged in eco-friendly, reusable, and recyclable materials, supporting environmentally conscious growing practices.

This is an heirloom seed, meaning it has been passed down from generation to generation for at least 75 years. As a rule, heirloom seeds taste better and will grow the same year after year.

These are also open pollinated meaning they will reproduce themselves. While all heirlooms are open pollinated not all open pollinated seeds are heirlooms.

Freshly Packed: These corn seeds are packed for the current growing season and will provide high germination rates next year as well.
