Atlas Carrots are an heirloom variety known for their small, round Parisian Market-type roots, making them ideally suited for gardeners with shallow soils. Their compact size and good root uniformity contribute to consistent results and excellent flavor. The plants produce short tops, which saves space and aids in easier cultivation. To achieve the characteristic round shape, it’s important to maintain even moisture throughout the growing season, as drought stress can cause the roots to elongate. These carrots typically mature in about 70 days and have a germination rate of 60% or higher. Small and flavorful, Atlas Carrots are perfect for slow-cooked dishes like pot roasts or as an accompaniment to roasted chicken. Our Non-GMO seeds are sustainably grown and come packaged in environmentally responsible materials that are reusable, recyclable, and climate friendly, supporting both quality harvests and eco-conscious gardening practices.

This is an heirloom seed, meaning it has been passed down from generation to generation for at least 75 years. As a rule, heirloom seeds taste better and will grow the same year after year.

These are also open pollinated meaning they will reproduce themselves. While all heirlooms are open pollinated not all open pollinated seeds are heirlooms.

Freshly Packed: These carrot seeds are packed for the current growing season and will provide high germination rates next year as well.
