Corn Sweet Sugar Buns is a super-sweet enhanced (se+) hybrid corn variety prized for its exceptionally long harvest period among early corns. It remains tender and flavorful for up to two weeks while still on the stalk, allowing extended harvesting flexibility. The ears measure about 7 inches long with 14 rows of narrow, deep kernels, producing an ideal balance of sweetness and texture for fresh eating. Growing between 5 and 6 feet tall, this variety thrives best at latitudes of 38° and above. It offers intermediate resistance to Northern Corn Leaf Blight and Stewart's Wilt, providing greater resilience in the field. Maturing in approximately 75 days, the seeds have a germination rate around 80% or better. These Non-GMO, sustainable seeds come in packaging that is environmentally and climate friendly, reusable, and recyclable—perfect for gardeners seeking both high-quality harvests and responsible stewardship.

Created from a controlled method of pollination in which the pollen of two different species or varieties is crossed by human intervention. Typical F1 varieties are deliberately created to breed a desired trait.

Gardeners who use hybrid plant varieties usually purchase new seed every year, however, over several years the seed could eventually be used for open pollination.

Freshly Packed: These corn seeds are packed for the current growing season and will provide high germination rates next year as well.
