Tomatillo De Milpa seeds produce striking royal purple-skinned fruits with vibrant green husks, adding visual appeal to your garden. These heirloom, organically grown seeds yield durable fruits that store well after harvest. Expect maturity in about 57 days, with reliable germination rates around 80%. For deeper purple coloration, keep harvested tomatillos exposed to light. Our Non-GMO seeds support sustainable gardening, packaged in eco-friendly, reusable, and recyclable materials for an environmentally conscious choice. Organically grown seeds.

Purple heirloom for long storage. In Mexico, these tomatillos grow unattended in family corn fields and are harvested for home use and for selling in town on market day. High dry matter, small to medium-round fruits store fresh for several weeks, handy for fresh salsa. Portions of the fruits blush with purple, especially after harvest.

This is an heirloom seed, meaning it has been passed down from generation to generation for at least 75 years. As a rule, heirloom seeds taste better and will grow the same year after year.

These are also open pollinated meaning they will reproduce themselves. While all heirlooms are open pollinated not all open pollinated seeds are heirlooms.

Freshly Packed: These tomatillo seeds are packed for the current growing season and will provide high germination rates next year as well.
