Squash Summer Tromboncino 25 Non-GMO, Heirloom Seeds

Squash Summer Tromboncino is also known as zucchini rampicante. It is a Cucurbita moschata, unlike other zucchinis. Tender, mild, sweet and nutty when harvested as summer squash at 8 to 12 inches long. Delicious steamed, grilled or sliced raw in salad. Italians use it in gnocchi and to stuff ravioli. When the green-tan fruits grow very long, they are best baked as winter squash. As might be inferred from its alias, its vines are rampant and should be trellised.

We cannot possibly put all the directions you need for growing summer squash in your area on the seed package. We recommend that you read articles or check with other gardeners in your area.

This is an heirloom seed, meaning it has been passed down from generation to generation for at least 75 years. As a rule, heirloom seeds taste better and will grow the same year after year.

These are also open pollinated meaning they will reproduce themselves. While all heirlooms are open pollinated not all open pollinated seeds are heirlooms.

Freshly Packed: These squash seeds are packed for the current growing season and will provide high germination rates next year as well.
