Useful, birdhouse gourds grown by us here on the farm. Some are 10 to 12 inches long. Some are much smaller. Large round bottom section connected by a narrow neck to a smaller round upper section. Dried for durable bottles, birdhouses, etc. Size and shape will vary from pack to pack. Grown in Texas and hand-harvested. There is no hole drilled in the gourds. I was going to drill them but then I found out that certain birds take different sizes, Only fertilizers, by Media Agriculture, were used in growing these. We have not put any sealers or colors on these but I think a clear coat would work nicely. Some Websites claim that hummingbirds love the birdhouse gourd but others claim they do not. There are many crafts that can be made from these. I am going with the latter.
