Contains 9 of the most popular and best-selling seasonal cover crop seeds. Garden Blend contains Austrian Field Pea, Hard Red Winter Wheat, Triticale, Daikon Radish, Crimson Clover, Hairy Vetch, Berseem Clover, Collards Forage, and Yellow Mustard seeds. 

Cover Crop No Till Garden Blend puts nitrogen back into the soil while providing the benefits of erosion control and weed suppression. Puts essential minerals back into the soil as well.   

Sow 5 pounds per 1,000 square feet which is 200 pounds an acre.

To break down a cover crop in a no-till garden without tilling, the most common method is to "crimp" the cover crop using a roller crimper, which essentially crushes the stems of the plant to stop its growth and allow it to decompose on the soil surface.

Or use a manual method by physically stomping or pushing down on the plants with a heavy board, depending on the size of your garden and the cover crop type.

Germination rate is about 80% or better.

These are also open pollinated meaning they will reproduce themselves. While all heirlooms are open pollinated not all open pollinated seeds are heirlooms.
