The name says it all – the Snowball Improved Cauliflower is pristine white. An heirloom variety, the Snowball cauliflower is a favorite of home vegetable gardeners. Also known as "Self-blanching" cauliflower.

Snowball y Improved is preferred among commercial growers for its ability to blanch ("whiten") itself without a labor-intensive process. Traditionally, farmers must manually cover and blanch their own cauliflower if they prefer a colorless crop.

This unique cultivar covers its own edible head with long wrapping leaves to best protect itself against the sun.

Harvest in about 80 days. Germination rate about 80% or better.

This is an heirloom seed, meaning it has been passed down from generation to generation for at least 75 years. As a rule, heirloom seeds taste better and will grow the same year after year.
