We have put together a smaller Fall Set. There are 55 packets but not as many seeds in the set. There are about 700 seeds.

Our Fall Seed Set (David's recommendations)  has Non-GMO, heirloom varieties In individual seed packs.

With heirloom seeds, you can save seeds from the vegetables you grow in your garden for the next season. Heirloom seed varieties will grow the exact same vegetable year after year, unlike hybrid varieties.

David also recommends this set to be part of your doomsday survival kit. He also recommends that you use this as a starter pack. Grow some to eat and some to save seeds. Learn how to save seeds. Before long you will have your doomsday supply built up.

See his website Growing a Doomsday Garden for survival tips like hiding your garden, produce and seeds from scavengers.

In rare cases there may be some substitutions of one or more seed varieties depending on availability.

Our Non-GMO seeds are sustainable. Our packaging is environmentally friendly, climate friendly, reusable, and recyclable.

This is an heirloom seed, meaning it has been passed down from generation to generation for at least 75 years. As a rule, heirloom seeds taste better and will grow the same year after year.

These are also open pollinated meaning they will reproduce themselves. While all heirlooms are open pollinated not all open pollinated seeds are heirlooms.

Freshly Packed: These seeds are packed for the current growing season and will provide high germination rates next year as well.

SPECIAL GERMINATING HINT: We have found putting the seeds in a container with a piece of fine sandpaper and shaking will increase the germination rate and speed. In most cases.

I know that there are a lot of survival companies out there selling survival sets with more  seeds than our pack and for a lot less. I do not see how they are doing this unless:

  1. They are selling seeds grown in another country
  2. The packs are made in another country
  3. And they are sneaking them into the United States by claiming them as something other than seeds because to ship them from another country into the United States requires a photsanitary certificate and this alone is $250 per seed variety
  4. Just the packaging on some of these has to cost more than they are charging -- now I will admit that sometimes the seeds only cost .25 but the packing cost much more but still 30,000 seeds for $69. And this through Prime Amazon where FBA takes about 50 to 60% of the total cost to store, pull and ship
