Pumpkin Kentucky Field 25 Non-GMO, Heirloom Seeds
Pumpkin Kentucky Field is a rare heirloom variety that once defined industry standards for commercial canning operations, now increasingly difficult to source. These non-GMO seeds produce substantial fruits typically weighing 10 to 15 pounds, featuring smooth, prominently ribbed skin and deep yellow, coarse flesh ideally suited for processing applications. The variety's historical significance and practical utility make it a valuable addition to heritage seed collections. Kentucky Field pumpkins excel across multiple culinary and agricultural applications. The dense flesh processes beautifully for canning, purees, and preserves, delivering the texture and flavor profile that established this variety's reputation. Beyond human consumption, these pumpkins serve as nutritious livestock feed—poultry farmers particularly value them for supporting egg production quality and nutritional density. The seeds roast exceptionally well, offering a delicious snack or ingredient for pumpkin oil production. The flesh also makes outstanding pies and traditional pumpkin preparations. Exceptional storage longevity distinguishes this variety—uncarved fruits maintain quality for 4 to 6 months under proper conditions, enabling extended availability throughout winter months. Plants reach harvest maturity in approximately 120 days, providing reliable seasonal timing. With a germination rate of 70% or better, these seeds establish consistently under appropriate growing conditions. Our Non-GMO seeds are sustainably produced without genetic modification, preserving the variety's authentic characteristics and genetic integrity. Our environmentally conscious packaging is fully reusable and recyclable, designed to minimize climate impact while protecting seed viability throughout storage and transport.

This is an heirloom seed, meaning it has been passed down from generation to generation for at least 75 years. As a rule, heirloom seeds taste better and will grow the same year after year.
These are also open pollinated meaning they will reproduce themselves. While all heirlooms are open pollinated not all open pollinated seeds are heirlooms.
Freshly Packed: These pumpkin seeds are packed for the current growing season and will provide high germination rates next year as well.
