Our common sage plants were grown with our seeds. This is the kind of sage used when cooking poultry. Do not eat common sage raw or you will not enjoy the taste. Sage should always be cooked first. Sage is that wonderful spice you smell whenever you are roasting a turkey and you put poultry seasoning on it.
