Mountain Sweet Yellow is a deliciously sweet yellow version of its red-fleshed cousin ‘Mountain Sweet’ that was popular in the 1840’s throughout NJ, PA and NY.

Mountain Sweet Yellow produces productive 8 to 10 inch spreading vines produce an abundance of 20 to 35 pound oblong fruits with dark green rinds striped with light green.

Beautiful deep rich yellow flesh is dotted with black seeds and has a firm texture and high sugar content. Performs well in the North. Excellent choice for fresh markets.

Harvest in about 95 days. Germination rate about 80% or better.
