Lettuce Romaine Truchas is a dark red mini romaine. The compact, mini heads are dark red even in the North.

Plants average 6 to 8 inches in height and fill out nicely. Market as a 3-pack with a green, and a bronze red variety.

Lettuce Romaine Truchas has an Utility Patent granted which means the seeds cannot be reproduced.

Harvest in about 50 days. Germination rate is about 80% or better.
