Fall Feels So Good!

by Juanita Schulze

Did I mention that we have finally have temperatures below 100°, even below 90°? It is glorious. Good Tuesday morning! David and I are busy working on our business websites and pulling seed orders but I thought I would take a minute to let you know that we are finally enjoying the amazing coolness here. It is very cloudy and we should get some rain today which is a praise. We went almost the entire summer without rain and temperatures over 100° almost every single day so we tend to get a bit excited when we have a few weeks of cooler weather in October. Our garden is just taking off now. Everything looks incredible and things are growing quickly.

Thank you to everyone who is ordering seeds and garlic from us now. We sure appreciate every sale. Long, dry summers and fall are our slow times for the business. Obviously, our very busy time starts in January for spring planting. In the meantime, we have garlic bulbs to plant this month and pecan flavored coffees that I know you will love. (We do ship the garlic and coffee.) If you are in the neighborhood, we have some pecan fudge and our chicken eggs.

I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday. May God bless you all today as you work and tend to your fall gardens. --Juanita
