This is the true wild woodland strawberry. It does best in shade and produces lots of runners. It will fill an area with delightful vigorous strawberry plants in short order. Even young seedlings begin producing runners when small. The fruit is very small but extremely aromatic and full of that wild flavor.

Special note: Hard to get started. Not for novice gardeners. Will require indoor lighting unless in a greenhouse with 8 to 12 hours of lighting. DO NOT DIRECT SOW. Will need about four weeks of constant 75 degrees to germinate. Strawberries are not easy to germinate. Harvest in 90 days. Germination rate is 70%.
