Clarkia is a wildflower, native to California and can be found in chaparral, foothills, and grassland areas. Flowers colors very from pink, lavender, and white. The genus name commemorates William Clark of the Lewis & Clark Expedition. Suitable for beds and borders, wildflower mixtures, and pollinator gardens. Blooms in 75 to 85 days. Germination rate is 80%. David's Garden Seeds is a Veteran owned business that has been offering quality products since 2009.

Wildflowers are exactly what the name implies, "wild" which means you plant them in the fall for spring growth. Spring means when your ground has thawed and the soil temperature (not the ambient temperature) is at least 65 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Wildflowers are not made to be started inside and transplanted.
